Great Selection and Storage Dec 26, 2009
By Alfred J This assortment was an excellent purchase for me. Not only does it keep the gaskets organized and available, it has application all over the house. I've used it to fix a broken fuel cap gasket on a Craftsman chainsaw (the OEM fix was about $20), and to seal a hand pump for soap that habitually leaked until I installed the right size gasket from this kit. I would certainly buy this item again.

I love DIY in the house and I couldn't be more than pleased to have this O-rings handy in the house for pipe leaks and faucet leaks. It's handy and I believe that all households should have this handy for some trouble shooting water leaks....a must have!!! I got mine fixed because of this....with all the different sizes available at your disposal you can be sure you will have the size the fits....

The variance in size is greater than it should be - May not fit most applications Sep 22, 2011
By T. Sessoms *** HAVEN'T FOUND HARDLY A THING THEY FIT PROPERLY
If you Google "oring sizes" or something like "oring asa chart" you'll find several good links for almost all major oring standardized sizes. This kit contains several of those, but the problem is their variance for sizing is far too much. Most good oring sources provide you orings with variance in the 4th decimal range (.000x), which is good.
These seem to vary by as much as .0x, which makes them useless for many replacement needs. Great if you're building something and make the size up as you go. These seem to be running "thinner" than they should be. For instance, some of them should have a cross-section (thickness) of 3/32" (0.0937) but seem to be more along the lines of .08 or less, which makes the entire oring the wrong size. Even when it's the right size, being too thin they won't seal as well or at all.
I have purchased orings in bulk from a major industrial supplier, easily found online, and their orings are spot-on. The ones in this kit are just kinda "meh".
*** HAVE FOUND 2 THINGS THEY DO FIT
I needed to replace burst orings on a high-pressure washer, and a few of the orings in this kit fit just right. I've also used them on a really, really old paintball marker. That's about it.
*** THE CASE WAS OK
They came in a pretty hardcore case, solid plastic. It'll last forever, but the hinge system occasionally hangs up.
*** SUMMARY
If you need accurate oring sizes, accurate replacement orings, your best bet would be to source them elsewhere. Certainly not this kit.

Pays for itself in no time... Mar 04, 2011
By Timazon At my local hardware store o-rings are packaged individually and cost about 75 cents each.
The o-rings in this set cost about 3 cents each.
Not only are they 25 times cheaper, having this kit on-hand saves a trip to the hardware store. Sure, you'll probably never use most of these, but you only need to use a few to appreciate the cost savings and convenience.
