SIPHON HOSE -- 6 FOOT -- NOT WHAT YOU THINK Jun 06, 2011
By Al I ordered this item at Amazon, and at that time it was completely different device. It had a clear tube with a brass device at one end. I want to make it clear to people thinking about purchasing it that many of the reviews and ratings here probably refer to that device and not the current item with a rubber bulb and two tubes. I hope this is a mistake, because otherwise it is guaranteed to mislead people. So please beware!

Super Siphon Works Great! Dec 16, 2008
By David Joiner I figured when I bought this I had a 50/50 chance of it working based on some information I read at a bulletin board. Wrong! This product works as advertised. I have used it to drain gas from my boat and transfer it to other containers, transfer gas from containers to my truck and car (haven't tried to use it to take gas out of my truck), and to drain trapped water off my boat cover. As long as you can get the discharge end of the tube below the liquid you are trying to drain it works very well.

I bought this siphon in order to fill my boat up using 5 gallon containers. The siphon works like a charm! I don't have to wrestle with the container any more or worry about spilling any gas in the lake. It's a cheap and easy way to fill up the boat.

Does The Job! May 26, 2010
By J. Johnson First of all, I didn't buy my Super Siphon through Amazon. That being said, it is a GREAT tool for transferring gasoline from one container to another.
Last year, I used it to move gas from 5 gal jerry cans to a filtered gasoline container during a 10 day Hurricane Ike-related power outage.
The super siphon is very easy to use...stick it in the supply container, move the end up & down to prime the tubing, and watch the gas zoom through the tubing. Lift the "supply" end of the Super Siphon from the fuel, and it stops pumping. Very simple...very handy...very useful.
